Valuable Internet Information

Screening expectant and postpartum moms is a topic that is coming up more and more these days, as well it should.  Why?  The more it’s brought up, the more the public will realize PPD’s prevalence and need for early detection and social support to help prevent and/or minimize its occurrence.  And perhaps one day in the not-too-distant future the standard for care of expectant and postpartum moms will see an improvement in both areas, not to mention banishing the stigma of perinatal mood disorder
